The adoption of technological devices to assist in teaching is a significant issue of debate. While proponents argue that computers make learning easier and more flexible, opponents believe they are unnecessary distractions. What is the value of these devices in the classroom? The truth is that these gadgets help young students acquire vital learning skills and, at the same time, hinder the development of other physical skills that children learn in outdoor activities. This essay argues that schools are better off rejecting the latest digital technology because they distract learning, hinder creativity, and promote cheating and laziness.
